The world’s first circumnavigational swim of Islay, Scotland.

On 29 July 2017 Explorers Club members Justin Fornal and Chad Anderson, along with Johnnie Mundell, became the first people in history to swim around the island of Islay Scotland. Following in the footsteps of the late Alfred Barnard, the explorers stopped by each of the eight operating distilleries and built upon Alfred’s written account with video, photographs, and scientific exploration.
